Demi Lovato confirms cameo appearance in Camp Rock 3

We are now just days away until the release of Camp Rock 3, and despite Demi Lovato taking on the role of executive producer for the third movie, she's just announced some VERY exciting news.
Demi, who played the role of Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock 1 and 2, has now confirmed her character will make a cameo appearance in the third movie, alongside Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas.
Demi joined the Jonas Brothers at the Los Angeles premiere on Monday 10th August, where she said: "It's so nostalgic and so healing to step into the role of Mitchie again. I had the best time. This film obviously means so much to me, Camp Rock was the beginning of my journey in this industry, and so it's just so great to be able to be back in this role."
The 33-year-old also shared a number of throwback snaps of her character from the first two movies to her own Instagram page, writing: 'mitchie 4 ever 🩵 #thisisme'. (sic)
Of course, fans were thrilled at the news, with one writing: 'Welcome back Mitchie Torres ❤️🔥'. Another added: 'Omgggggg I’m screamingggg', with another writing: 'Thank goodness Demi's in it. #CampRock3'. (sic)
Another excited fan wrote: 'Camp rock will always be in a special place in our hearts and I remember I used to play with my Shane and mitchie Disney dolls as a child. Oh the nostalgia 🥹🥹🥹 we love you Demi'. (sic)
Up until now, Demi's involvement in the new movie has been kept under wraps, with Disney sharing the news that she'd taken up the role of executive producer, despite the Jonas Brothers returning as Connect 3.
On 29th September 2025, Demi shared a photo on set as she sat in a Director's Chair which featured her name and the words 'executive producer'.
She captioned the shot with: 'this is me (in my producer era)'.
However, we now know Demi will return as Mitchie, joining the cast including Liamani Segura as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, newcomer Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, and Ava Jean as Madison.
Demi and the Jonas Brothers aren't the only old faces returning, as Maria Canals-Barrera will also reprise her role as Connie.

When does Camp Rock 3 come out?
Camp Rock 3 will land on Disney Channel on Thursday 13th August, before it arrives on Disney+ on Friday 14th August.
