TOWIE's Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman announce they are engaged

Congratulations are in order for The Only Way Is Essex couple Joe Blackman and Junaid Ahmed, as the pair have announced their engagement!
The happy couple, who have been dating for two years, are currently away in Albania filming with the TOWIE cast, and Junaid took the opportunity to get down on one knee to pop the question.
Sharing the amazing news on social media, the boys posted a cute video, teasing the proposal will be shown in full on the next series of TOWIE. The caption read: '04/06/2026 💍 You'll need to tune into #TOWIE Series 38 to find out the story behind the proposal 💍❤️'. (sic)
Fans, friends and co-stars of the pair were quick to comment. Jodie Wells wrote: 'crying all over again! the best day love you both ❤️', with Ella Wise adding: 'Over the moon for you both. Bring on the wedding ❤️'.
Love Island's Jess Harding wrote: 'Omg 😭😭 you two, can’t even cope!!! Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️'.
A fan then wrote: 'To think how you’re relationship started the hate you both got to the one of the happiest moments of your lives congratulations! Speaking to The Sun, Junaid said: "Never in a million years did I think I was going to get my happily ever after. Being Gay and Muslim this is the fairytale I've always wanted.
"I may not have my family's acceptance but I have my new family in Joe and his family. I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm on cloud nine.
"I'm settled in who I am and the best version of me and Joe has shown me what real love feels like."
Junaid and Joe started dating following Joe's split with ex and co-star Harry Derbidge, who also happened to be best friends with Junaid.
The trio have seemingly made amends in recent months, with scenes playing out during the last series of TOWIE, which is available to watch in full on ITX now.
