Two men from Wakefield have been arrested and banned from North Yorkshire after being found with Class A drugs, tools, gloves, and a balaclava in South Milford.

Officers say they received a call in the early hours of Sunday morning (7th December) that two men were acting suspiciously.

Officers pulled over a Renault Kangoo as they were approaching South Milford, which is when they found the drugs and items they believed to be for a theft.

A 29-year-old and 31-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

They've since been questioned and bailed, with bail conditions stating they cannot re-enter North Yorkshire.

An investigation is ongoing.
