Three officers injured in Harrogate crash

Police are appealing witnesses following a crash in Harrogate which involved a marked North Yorkshire Police van.

Its reported two vehicles collided at 5.32pm on Tuesday (23 September) on Beckwith Road near the junction with Otley Road.

The three officers in the Peugeot Expert police van have received treatment for minor injuries.

The woman driving the black Ford Fiesta car, which overturned onto its roof, has been taken to hospital by ambulance with an arm injury.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Road closures were put in place while the emergency services worked at the scene. It reopened at 7.50pm.

The force are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
