Three injured after collision near Whitley

Three people were taken to hospital after a serious collision on Cobcroft Lane at the junction with Beal Lane near Whitley.

It happened on Friday at approximately 4.20pm involving a black Ford Puma and a grey Toyota Yaris.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene and to allow the vehicles involved to be recovered.
