Man wanted by North Yorkshire Police after killing duckling

The man went on to be confronted by another person before being assaulted

North Yorkshire Police have launched an appeal to find a man suspected of catching and killing a duckling in broad daylight.

The incident is believed to have taken place at around 1pm on May 31st at The Oaks Fishing Lakes in Sessay, near Thirsk.

During the incident, it is believed that the man pictured was seen catching a duckling before killing it.

The man's actions were later seen by a passer-by, who later confronted him on what he did - he was also assaulted by the suspect.

Officers are now urging the public to come forward with any information they may have about the man.
