Motorcyclist, 50, seriously injured in crash near Ripon
A 50-year-old man from Boroughbridge was airlifted to hospital
Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash near Skelding in the Ripon area.
Emergency services were called at around 10.25am on Sunday (10 August), after a black and yellow Kawasaki motorcycle and a grey Kia Niro collided on a minor road between Pateley Bridge and Kirby Malzeard.
The rider - a fifty-year-old man from Boroughbridge - was airlifted to hospital.
Three people in the Kia were unhurt.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle before the crash or witnessed the collision itself, especially if they have dashcam footage.
