Teenage boy in serious condition following incident at Hambleton farm

A teenage boy has suffered serious electrocution injuries following an incident near Hambleton.

Officers from North Yorkshire Police received a call just after 5pm on Tuesday (July 29th) to an incident taking place on a farm in Stokesley.

When responders arrived, they found a teenage boy suffering serious injuries after being electrocuted on the site.

The boy, described by police as a teenager, was airlifted to hospital, where he currently remains in a serious condition.

Officers remain at the scene as investigations continue, and North Yorkshire Police are working together with the Health and Safety Executive.

Two men, aged 47 and 71, have since been arrested in connection with the incident and currently remain in police custody for questioning.

The force is now appealing for anyone who may have any information or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
