Car set on fire in North Yorkshire
Police are appealing for information about the incident in York
Police are investigating an arson in Acomb in York.
It happened on Thoresby Road.
It's believed to have happened at around 2am in the morning of Sunday 8th June 2025, and involved the window of a Renault Modus being smashed and the interior of the car set on fire.
The fire service were called out and put out the fire.
The vehicle was parked on the street unattended, with no one inside, and no one was injured during the incident.
Officers are asking local residents to check any CCTV or video doorbell systems, or get in touch if they saw or heard anything that could assist enquiries.
