Police appeal after man exposes himself to woman in York

Officers have released details of his description

Officers are appealing for information after an unknown man exposed himself to a woman in York.

The reported incident happened on the path between the A64 and Askham Bar park and ride near to the college playing fields on 8th February.

He was naked and approached the woman who was walking along the path at around 11.45am.

Specialist support is being given to the victim.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said "The man is described as approximately 5ft 7inches tall, in his early to mid-30s, and had light stubble and short, light brown hair.

"We’re appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or saw the man to get in touch. We also urge anyone else who may have been approached in a similar way to get in touch."
