Woman left with serious injuries following an assault in Selby

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Selby.

It happened at around 3.30am on 11th January on Finkle Street outside the ZuZu Lounge.

Officers say the victim sustained serious facial injuries during the incident.

A man was arrested in connection with the incident and remains on police bail.
