Police appealing for witnesses following crash in North Yorkshire which injured cyclist

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a crash on the 19 December in the Malton area

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash which injured a cyclist.

It happened around 12.45pm on (Thursday 19 December 2024), on Whitewall Corner Hill, Malton.

Emergency services were called following a collision involving a bicycle and a silver Mercedes.

The cyclist sustained serious injuries, including broken bones, was taken to hospital. He is in a stable condition.

Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to the collision and requesting dashcam footage, including of the vehicles' movements prior to the crash.
