Two teenagers injured after collision in York

Two teenagers have been seriously injured in a collision in York.

Shortly before 10pm on Saturday a two-vehicle collision on Danebury Drive, at the junction with Ostman Road occured.

The collision involved a green Calibre pedal cycle, which had been adapted to be electrically-assisted, and a white Fiat 500 car.

Two 15-year-old boys, both from the York area, were taken to hospital with serious injuries, where they remain in serious, but stable, conditions.
