Teenager arrested after Skipton bus station assault
It happened on Friday
Police investigating an assault at Skipton bus station on the evening of Friday 20 March, have arrested a 15 year-old boy, on suspicion of assault.
He has since been released on bail, to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
It's after a man in his sixties was assaulted during a disturbance at Skipton bus station.
The incident was reported at around 7.40pm on Friday 20 March, but is believed to have happened at around 6.30pm.
The man suffered a head injury during the disturbance and returned home, but was then taken to hospital by his family.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area of the bus station and saw a disturbance involving a groups of youths, or witnessed the assault, to come forward, along with anyone who may have captured the incident CCTV, dashcam or has mobile phone footage of the incident.
A number of people have already come forward with information.
