Information sought after suspicious activity in Thirsk
Police are asking for help from the public
Authorities in Thirsk are seeking information from the public following a report of suspicious activity in the area.
This afternoon, a grey transit-style van with a sliding side door was spotted near the Hambo Shop on Hambleton Place.
The van was observed between approximately 2.30pm and 2.50pm and has been described as acting suspiciously.
A girl, thought to be around 16-years-old, was also seen nearby.
She is described as being of slim build, roughly 5ft 4in tall, with long dark hair.
Her attire consisted of black leggings and a white puffer-style jumper.
Members of the public who witnessed the van or the girl, or who have any information that could aid in the investigation, are encouraged to contact authorities.
