Prolific Harrogate burglars jailed for ten years combined
They were sentenced in relation to seven incidents
Two prolific Harrogate burglars have been jailed for a total of ten-years combined.
19-year-old Hari Barnes and 23-year-old William Smythe were jailed for five-years each after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary.
York Crown Court heard how the pair went on a burglary spree in June and July 2025.
They were linked to seven burglaries and attempted burglaries across the Bilton, Valley Gardens and New Park areas of Harrogate.
They stole car keys and cars from driveways, broke into properties and were seen on multiple CCTV cameras scoping out properties, as seen below.
