Police appeal after serious collision in York

Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage in relation to a collision which occurred on Hull Road in York.

The incident happened close to Tranby Avenue at around 4.55pm yesterday (Thursday 13 November 2025).

A spokesperson for the force has said:

"A Ford KA in blue collided with a pedestrian. Following the incident the pedestrian was taken to York Hospital with serious injuries and the driver is helping officers with their enquiries.

"We are now urging any witnesses to come forward or any motorists with relevant dashcam footage of the collision who have not already been spoken to at the scene to come forward."
