Tribute to “totally irreplaceable” Thirsk man who died after being hit by car

The family of a "totally irreplaceable, kind, loving" man who died after being hit by a car in Thirsk have paid tribute to him.
Emergency services were called just before 10.30pm on Sunday 7 June to reports of a crash between a white Mercedes A Class car and a pedestrian outside the Nova Bar on Market Place.
Peter Hudson, 61, from Thirsk, died at the scene.
Peter's family have said in tribute: "We are devastated by the loss of our amazing Pete.
"Totally irreplaceable, kind, loving and hilarious. He was adored by family and friends, and meant something to everyone, but absolutely everything to us. We will love him and miss him always."
The driver of the Mercedes, a 46-year-old man from Darlington, is assisting the police with their investigation.
