Police have issued an appeal for information following a series of burglaries at agricultural buildings in Northallerton.

The offences, which occurred from 30th June to 9th July 2026, involved multiple break-ins at storage facilities used for agricultural purposes, with the targeted premises situated away from main roads.

These locations are surrounded by new housing developments off Darlington Road and North Moor Road.

Investigations are continuing without any identified suspects at this stage, but authorities believe those responsible may be young people visiting the area during evening hours.

Police are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who might have information about the perpetrators or the stolen property, which includes a bicycle, a lawn mower, and various tools.

Residents and visitors who have noticed suspicious activities or possess potential evidence via CCTV, doorbell cameras, or dashcam footage are urged to come forward.

If you can assist in the investigation, contact PC Ben Dowson by emailing [email protected] or through the North Yorkshire Police website using the 'Tell Us About' form under 'An existing case or report.'

A live chat service is also available on weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
