Man in hospital after being after Skipton assault

A man is been treated in hospital for a head injury after an assault at Skipton bus station last night.

The victim in his 60s was attacked during a disturbance around 6.30pm say North Yorkshire Police that also involved a group of youths.

Officers have already spoken to some witnesses but are asking anyone else who saw what happened to get in touch.

North Yorkshire police stated:

"We are appealing to anyone who was in the area of the bus station and saw a disturbance involving a groups of youths, or witnessed the assault, to come forward along with anyone who may have captured the incident CCTV, dashcam or has mobile phone footage of the incident.

A number of people have already come forward with information and our thanks go to them.
