Harrogate Town have signed Burnley defender Oliver Pimlott on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old left wing back will wear the number 22 shirt at the club.

He is in line to feature in this weekend's game against Barrow, subject to FA and National League approval.

Through the ranks at Burnley

Pimlott joined the Clarets at under-14 level and has since earned a professional deal with the Lancashire club.

He has also been named in Burnley's senior matchday squad, and made more than 30 appearances for their under-21s last season.

What Pimlott said

"I'm really happy to be here and looking forward to the challenge ahead," Pimlott said.

"I'm high energy, tenacious and love bombing on, so when I heard about the interest I couldn't wait to get here and all the lads have been great so far."
