Harrogate Town AFC has announced the signing of left wing-back Ethan Bristow, who joins the club after spending the 2025/26 season with Tranmere Rovers.

The 24-year-old will wear the number three shirt at Harrogate Town.

Bristow expressed his enthusiasm for the move: “As soon I spoke to the Manager it was an easy decision and I’m looking forward to trying to help the club get back to League Two next season.”

The manager and other club figures have outlined a clear vision for the team, which Bristow looks forward to supporting.

Lloyd Kerry complimented Bristow’s attributes, highlighting his speed, athletic ability, and energy, stating, “He’s played at a good level so we think he’ll be a good fit for us.”

Bristow began his career at Reading, made his debut for The Royals in 2020, and transferred to Tranmere Rovers in 2022.

His skill caught the attention of MLS team Minnesota United, though he returned to England to help Stockport County become League Two Champions before rejoining Tranmere last season.

At the international level, Bristow boasts five appearances for Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Bristow’s arrival is seen as part of Harrogate Town’s strategic efforts to strengthen their squad, aiming for success in the upcoming season.
