Police seek witnesses to sexual assault by touching incident in Harrogate
Assistance needed following attack on The Stray
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following a sexual assault by touching that took place in Harrogate on Sunday, 6th September.
The incident occurred around 8:30 PM on The Stray, between Knaresborough Road and Wetherby Road, when an unknown man ran past and sexually assaulted a woman who was walking in the area.
Following the assault, the suspect fled in the direction of Wetherby Road.
The suspect is described as a white man with a skinny build, tall stature, wearing shorts, a blue/green running jacket, and a white baseball cap.
Authorities are urgently seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or can identify the suspect.
