Cyclist fractures collarbone in Thorpe Willoughby collision

Police are working to identify the vehicle she collided with

A woman has suffered a fractured collarbone after a collision between her bicycle and a vehicle that reportedly didn't stop in Thorpe Willoughby.

Emergency services were called out to the A63 roundabout with Leeds Road at around 8pm on 8th April.

They'd had reports of a collision between a cyclist and an unknown motor vehicle.

The cyclist, a woman, suffered a fractured collarbone and cuts and bruises.

Police are working to identify the driver of the vehicle.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said "At this time, the driver and vehicle involved have not been identified.

"It is known that the vehicle had approached the roundabout from the direction of Selby and continued towards Hambleton following the collision.

"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dash-cam footage or information that could assist our investigation."
