Two arrested following disturbance at Boroughbridge Football Club
Appeal for witnesses to come forward after incident involving group and two men
Police are investigating an incident at Boroughbridge Football Club involving a group of young people and two adult men.
The event unfolded on Wednesday, 8th April, at around 4pm.
This saw the swift action of officers resulting in the arrest of two men, both in their 40s, on suspicion of affray.
Both men have been released on bail as enquiries continue.
North Yorkshire Police is asking for anyone who was at the football club or in the vicinity and saw the incident, or anyone with pertinent information, to contact them immediately.
The investigation is ongoing, and high visibility patrols will be conducted in the area over the next few days to offer reassurance and assistance to the community.
