Man in critical condition after three-vehicle crash on A19 near Selby
Three other people were taken to hospital
A man is in a critical condition following a serious three-vehicle crash on the A19 near Selby.
Emergency services were called out to the A19 at Balne crossroads at around 10.15am today (20 July).
Officers arrived to find a black Audi A3 car, a grey Range Rover, and a white Hyundai Santa Fe SUV had collided.
The driver of the Audi, a 39-year-old man from Selby, is in a critical condition in hospital.
He and a passenger had to be removed from the car by firefighters.
The passenger, and the drivers of the other vehicles, were also taken to hospital with injuries that aren't thought to be life threatening.
