25 imitation firearms were handed in across North Yorkshire during last month’s national firearms amnesty.

Police say another 65 weapons were also surrendered, taking 90 potentially dangerous guns off the streets.

Officers are thanking the public for their help and urging anyone with information about illegal firearms to get in touch.
