Tributes paid to much loved dad who died in Manchester collision
61-year-old, Jason Parr, died on Tuesday evening after his e-bike collided with two pedestrians on Rochdale Road
The family of a man, who died following a collision in Manchester, have paid tribute as officers continue to appeal for more information.
Jason Parr, 61, suffered fatal injuries after his e-bike collided with two pedestrians on on Rochdale Road on Tuesday evening (2 December).
Jason died at the scene whilst the two pedestrians were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
In a tribute to Jason, his daughter Samantha said: “We are heartbroken and devastated by the sudden loss of our dad Jason, who was killed in a traffic accident. His absence has left a huge void in our lives, and we are struggling to come to terms with this tragedy.
“It doesn’t feel real, and the shock and pain is overwhelming. He was one of a kind, known for his humour and could make anyone laugh, he was loved by many.
“My dad meant the world to us and will be sadly missed forever.”
Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing enquiries.
