Teen charged after incident at Wigan Interchange
He is due to appear at Manchester Youth Court today
A teenager has been charged following the stabbings of two people at Wigan Interchange.
The 16-year-old boy faces two counts of grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Officers say both victims, who were injured at the bus interchange on Wednesday, have been discharged from hospital following treatment.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Manchester Youth Court today.
Detective Inspector Lee Shaw, from Greater Manchester Police said: "Both victims are recovering well and have now been discharged from hospital following treatment.
"The interchange is back to being fully operational, however additional patrols covering the area remain in place for reassurance."
