Yorkshire sign Surrey seamer James Taylor on three year deal
The former England U19 and Derbyshire player will link up with the White Rose ahead of the 2027 season.
Yorkshire have announced the signing of seamer James Taylor on a three year deal from Surrey.
The former Derbyshire and England U19 will start at Headingley ahead of the 2027 season.
He's taken 41 wickets in 19 first-class appearances for Surrey this season.
Speaking to the YCCC website Taylor said, “At this stage of my career, I felt it was the right time to take on a new challenge. Yorkshire have shown a lot of belief in me, and I’m looking forward to repaying that faith by contributing as much as I can to the team.
“Headingley is one of the great grounds in county cricket and I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the Yorkshire supporters. Hopefully I can help the Club compete for trophies over the next few seasons and continue to develop my game.
“I’m excited to get started with the lads, work hard over the winter and be ready to hit the ground running ahead of the 2027 season. I can’t wait to pull on the White Rose shirt and begin this next chapter.”
