A West Yorkshire Police officer, who's already suspended from duty after being charged with rape, is now facing further allegations.

43 year old PC Jo Lavender, who's based in the Leeds district, is now facing five further counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14.

All of the offences are said to have happened while he was off duty, against three female victims.

He is due before York Magistrates Court on Thursday (February 13).

Lavender remains suspended from duty, pending an investigation by West Yorkshire Police’s Professional Standards Directorate.
