Serving West Yorkshire Police officer in court over alleged sexual assaults in York

He is due to go on trial later this year

A West Yorkshire police officer has appeared in court charged with multiple sexual assaults, said to have happened in a York nightclub.

PC Martin Brough, 43, is charged with three counts of sexual assault on a woman over the age of 16.

The reported offences relate to three victims in the city centre in December 2024 while he was off duty.

He's appeared at York Crown Court, with a trial set for September

He remains suspended from policing duties pending the outcome of court proceedings.
