Four teenagers have been arrested, one on suspicion of attempted murder, after a woman was stabbed in Huddersfield.

The 30-year-old victim was found with multiple injuries in Topaz Close late on Monday 11th May 2026.

She remains in a critical condition in hospital.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:

"Police investigating a serious attack on a woman in Huddersfield have made multiple arrests as enquiries continue.

"Kirklees CID is continuing to appeal for witnesses after a woman was stabbed and left with serious head and neck injuries in an assault on Topaz Close, Huddersfield, on Monday 11 May.

"Officers yesterday arrested a 17-year-old Huddersfield boy on suspicion of attempted murder and three teenage Huddersfield boys aged, 18, 17 and 16 on suspicion of assisting an offender.

"The 30-year-old victim of the attack remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone who saw the attack, which took place at about 10.30pm, or two suspects within the Birkby/Edgerton on an ebike or a Surron before or after the stabbing to come forward with information.
