Woman dies after Todmorden collision
A woman in her 50s died after being hit by a car on Kebs Road in Todmorden early this morning.
Emergency services were called just after 5.30am but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A 68-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A police scene remains in place while enquiries continue.
A Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Kebs Road, Todmorden at around 5.40 this morning (15 September) involving a car and a pedestrian.
"A woman aged 52 sadly died at the scene. A 68-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
"A scene remains in place while enquiries are ongoing."
