A West Yorkshire Police officer is set to appear in court charged with sexual offences.

PC Russell Grifford, 42, who works in Kirklees District, has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault.

The charges relate to alleged offences committed while off duty.

PC Grifford is due to attend Bradford Magistrates Court on the morning of January 6 2026. He is currently suspended from duty.
