Man arrested after sexual assault on teenager girl in Wakefield supermarket
A 28 year old is being questioned
A 28 year old man has been arrested after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at a Wakefield supermarket.
The incident happened at around 3:45pm yesterday (July 23) at the Asda superstore on Asdale Road.
The suspect was arrested at the scene on suspicion of sexual assault and assaulting a police officer.
Officers are trying to trace a woman who confronted the suspect while shopping in the kitchen aisle, as she might have information important to the investigation.
