A 73-year-old man from the Wakefield district has been charged with sexual offences in connection with incidents dating back over twenty years in Kirklees.
Kevin Wood, from Outwood, is facing nine counts of indecent assault, with accusations relating to seven offences against a teenage girl between 2004 and 2005, and two offences against a second teenage girl during the same period.
He will appear at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on 16th September.
The charges are part of ongoing investigations by specialist detectives into non-recent child sexual offences in the area.
