Two Bradford supporters are arrested over alleged racist abuse
Police are investigating offences towards a member of staff during Saturday’s game against Luton Town
Bradford City AFC regrets to announce two supporters have been arrested for alleged racially aggravated offences towards a club member of staff during Saturday’s Sky Bet League One game against Luton Town.
The individuals are currently being investigated and the club is fully cooperating with West Yorkshire Police.
If found guilty, the individuals will receive indefinite bans from the University of Bradford Stadium and have been suspended until the outcome of the ongoing investigations.
In a statement on their website the club says it would like to reiterate Bradford City AFC has a zero-tolerance policy towards racism and all forms of discrimination.
Meanwhile, a Luton fan was also detained and removed from Valley Parade for making alleged racist gestures towards a Bradford player shortly before half-time in the hosts' 2-1 win.
A 51-year-old man has since been released on bail.
