Two separate weather warnings have been issued for thunderstorms across Yorkshire over the next few days.

The first yellow warning starts at 12pm tomorrow (July 18) and ends at around 8pm. It just covers north Yorkshire and parts of East and West Yorkshire.

It'll be replaced at 9pm on Friday by another yellow warning covering most of England, including the whole of Yorkshire - which will be lifted at 6pm on Saturday.

It could mean some much needed rainfall for our drought hit region, with forecasters warning of up to 90mm in places in just three hours.

The Met Office also says there's a possibility of flash flooding in places, as well as power cuts and delays to public transport.
