Three people have been arrested as investigations continue into a stabbing in Dewsbury.

Officers were called to an affray incident outside the bus station at around 3pm yesterday afternoon (16 January).

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the leg during a fight involving a number of people.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, with his injuries described as not life-threatening.

A 35-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both from Dewsbury, have been arrested on suspicion of affray. They remain in police custody for questioning.

The 17-year-old, who continues to receive treatment, has also been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Detectives believe the incident was targeted and continue to urge people to get in touch with information and footage.
