Yesterday (10th May) Boris Johnson confirmed that pubs and restaurants will open up indoors from the 17th May.

Peter Down the chairman of Bradford Campaign for Real Ale said:

"Under the step 3 restrictions, the rule of 6 will apply, so obviously they won't be able to trade as freely, as without any restrcitions.

"We already know of some pubs that haven't survived, they've already closed down as a result of the restrictions. If they went on for much longer, chances are we'd find many others too.

"We're in a much better position than last summer, there should be the opportunity to open us more quickly, more freely."
