Police in West Yorkshire continue their appeal for a man after a robbery in which a teenager was reportedly pinned to a wall and assaulted.

We're told the 16-year-old was left with injuries to his face in the incident on Friday afternoon.

Officers say it happened on Great George Street in Leeds, with the victim losing his phone and bag.

They have since issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

West Yorkshire Police added: "The Leeds District Crime Team would like to speak to anyone who can identify the male pictured who they want to speak with in connection to the robbery of a teenager on Great George Street on Friday 14 February.

"The incident took place at about 2.40pm after the 16-year-old male victim was approached by a male suspect who pinned him against a wall and assaulted him.

"He then made off towards the outdoor market with the victim’s phone and bag.

"The 16-year-old was left with facial injuries as a result of the assault.

"Anyone who recognises the male pictured or who has any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Leeds District Crime Team on 101 referencing police crime number 13250087736.

"Information can also be given online or anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."
