Investigation underway after man dies in Shipley

Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in Shipley this morning.

Officers were called at 9:29am to Stead Street, to concerns for the safety of a person.

He was pronounced dead by ambulance crews a short time later.

West Yorkshire Police say their investigation is in its 'early stages', with forensics officers currently at the scene.
