Seven men have been jailed for their involvement in a multi-million-pound Class A drug supply plot after an extensive investigation by police in West Yorkshire.

Detectives seized 26 kilograms of cocaine worth more than £2 million and £175,000 in cash, covering activities between 4th August 2021 and 9th December 2021.

Further evidence revealed that up to 303 kilograms of Class A drugs were supplied by the group, as members smuggled heroin and cocaine intended for distribution in West Yorkshire and beyond.

Two of the men, Mohammed Saeed and Olalekan Odedina, were sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on 14th November 2025, concluding the case after five others were jailed in October.

Three men admitted their roles in the conspiracy:

Steven Conroy, 36, formerly of Llanrwst Close, Liverpool, admitted two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin). He was jailed for five years and six months.

Naveed Asghar, 38, formerly of Field Lane, Wakefield, admitted two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin) and conspiracy to possess criminal property. He received a prison sentence of seven years and three months.

Mohammed Adil Jamil, 32, formerly of George Avenue, Huddersfield, admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to possess criminal property. He was sentenced to six years and nine months.

Four were found guilty after trial:

Nasir Hayatt, 32, of Cowlersley Lane, Huddersfield, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and admitted conspiracy to possess criminal property. He was jailed for four years and six months.

Alex Holder, 29, formerly of Hayling Way, Stockton-on-Tees, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine, admitting conspiracy to possess criminal property. He was jailed for three years and nine months.

Mohammed Saeed, 37, formerly of Latimer Road, Bournemouth, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to possess criminal property. He was jailed for three years and nine months.

Olalekan Odedina, 46, formerly of Fairgreen East, Enfield, London, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to possess criminal property. He was jailed for four years and six months.

Detective Inspector Kevin Daly, of West Yorkshire Police, said, “This was a coordinated plot to supply heroin and cocaine in kilo quantities that would have been split and sold in smaller amounts on the streets of West Yorkshire and further afield.

“They sought to profit from the misery and violence that the drugs trade brings to our communities, and I am pleased that through our investigation they have been brought to justice.”

West Yorkshire Police continue to tackle the harm caused by organised drug supply and the associated violence within communities.
