Castleford head coach Ryan Carr departs for 'personal reasons'

Castleford have confirmed Ryan Carr has left his role as head coach due to personal reasons.
The 38-year-old joined the Betfred Super League club on a three-year deal at the start of the campaign, but now departs the OneBore Stadium with the Tigers sitting in ninth position.
Owner Martin Jepson said the search for a new head coach will begin immediately, while Luke Robinson remains as an assistant coach.
A club statement read: “The club would like to thank Ryan for his efforts and wish both him and his family all the best for the future.
“Both Castleford Tigers RLFC and Ryan Carr will provide no further comment on this matter.”
