A man's body has been pulled from the River Aire in Leeds city centre.

West Yorkshire Police have confirmed the discovery was made yesterday close to Crown Point Bridge close to 5pm yesterday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still looking into the circumstances around the death, which is bring treated as unexplained.
