Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a serious assault left a rough sleeper in Pontefract with a fractured spine.

The victim, a 50 year old, was attacked in the early hours of March 14 in Market Place. Two men were involved in the incident.

Jake Marshall, 31, of Heather Gardens, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in connection and is also facing the same charge over an incident in Hardwick Road on May 9.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured is being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
