Police seek help to identify man in Leeds assault case
Image released as officer injured in city centre
Police are asking for assistance from the public after releasing an image of a man they wish to speak to regarding an assault in Leeds City Centre.
The incident occurred in the early hours of 16th July on Briggate, Leeds, when an off-duty officer was attacked.
The officer sustained facial injuries during the assault.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and burglary.
He has since been bailed while further investigations are conducted.
Authorities are eager to identify and speak with the man captured in the image released.
