Police appeal following electric motorcycle collision in Mirfield

A 25-year-old man has been taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between two electric motorcycles in Mirfield, on Stocks Bank Road.

The incident occurred near the junction of Priory Way around 7.15pm on 28th May, involving motorcycles travelling in convoy.

One of the riders, a 25-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.

The other rider was unharmed in the collision.

The Roads Policing Unit is eager to speak to anyone who witnessed the event or moments leading up to it.

Motorists in the vicinity with dash cams are also encouraged to review their footage for any pertinent evidence that could assist the investigation.
