Bradford City midfielder Bobby Pointon has committed his future to his hometown club, signing a contract extension until the summer of 2027.

The 21 year old also has an option to stay a further year, after making 40 appearances for the Bantams in League Two last season.

The Low Moor born star played a vital role in City's return to League One last campaign, scoring six times and helping with five assists.

Speaking to the Bradford City website, Pointon said: “I am buzzing to have signed an extension with the club. It was a no-brainer for me.

“I have supported this club my whole life, played here since I was young, and I love coming down every Saturday to play.”
